    • Primary Winter Concert was held in the school auditorium on 22 January 2021. We bade farewell to the past year and welcomed the New Year with a brilliant concert as the children delivered a splendid audio-visual performance for all to enjoy.

On stage, all 25 pieces of music were performed by children from the Primary Section. The excellent performance demonstrated the new look of the Yew Wah students and the music course as an effective carrier of Yew Wah's artistic featured course, which greatly promoted the all-round development of students' comprehensive quality.

Yew Wah attaches great importance to music programmes for our students. We aim to continually strengthen the frequency of music education and intensity to provide a platform for students to showcase their musical talents and enrich their after-school life. For Primary students, for example, violin lessons are compulsory for Grade 1 and Grade 2 students, and students from Grade 3 to Grade 5 can choose an instrument from the violin, viola, cello, and double bass.

All the Yew Wah children have the opportunity to perform in different schools and public venues to showcase their learning and musical talent. Each performance is a record of their growth. Through the performance experience, children build confidence and develop a lifelong appreciation of music, which lays a solid foundation for their lifelong development. Art is the key to human history's progress and the foundation of Yew Wah's educational philosophy and goals. Yew Wah especially pays attention to art education and has been committed to art education to help students with excellent development; we ensure that children learn all kinds of music and art. We use this kind of "aesthetic education" to enhance students' comprehensive qualities, cultivating students' ability to appreciate beauty and creating beauty.
