Recently, the students of YWIES Shanghai Lingang have achieved remarkable results in various contests and competitions, once again demonstrating their exceptional talent and dedication.

In October, two enthusiastic current IG1 students, Iryna Dordzhyieva and Kitty Fang, and Lucas Sun, a former YWIES student, embarked on an unforgettable journey to the World Scholars Cup Champion Tournament at Yale University.
Iryna, Kitty, and Lucas proudly earned a Gold medal in the Bowl team competition. Iryna also won two silver medals, one for writing and another for the Scholar's Challenge competition. Kitty Fang received a silver medal for Debate. Their team ranked 170th overall out of 900 senior and junior teams, a commendable achievement.
This prestigious event not only tested their academic prowess but also offered numerous opportunities to make new friends and explore iconic educational institutions.
We are exceptionally proud of these talented students and hope they inspire their friends and fellow YWIES students across the school, to challenge themselves!

The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) is sponsored by the Mathematics Association of America (MAA). Today, the competition has become the most influential youth math competition with over 300,000 students participating annually in over 6,000 schools.
Because of its rigorous design and combination of simplicity and difficulty, the AMC is not only a test that challenges students of all levels but also a test that is known for the high degree of distinction in the questions, from which it selects students with unique talents for the U.S. National Team of IMO.

The YWIES SHLG U15 boys' football team won Second Place in the International School Football Finals. Their fighting spirit and teamwork are truly admirable.
In addition, several students from our school took the CAIE exams a year or more in advance and achieved excellent results. For example, Tom Huang and Charles Xie from IG1 received A* grades in subjects such as Computer Science, Chemistry, and Biology in IGCSE.
Looking ahead, YWIES Shanghai Lingang will continue to provide more opportunities for students to showcase their talents and enhance their abilities. We believe that in the nurturing environment of YWIES Shanghai Lingang, every student will shine with their unique brilliance!
