Students and teachers at YWIES Shanghai Lingang worked hard to make the English Week a big success.

Classroom doors were decorated with book covers from famous children's authors.

With students' expecting eyes, we embraced the Pajama Day! Classrooms looked like cozy bedrooms where students showcased their unique personalities through their choice of fun pajamas.

During the English Week students thoroughly enjoyed speaking and listening to two authors – Darrell Morton Jr. and Derrick Slack.

During the English Week students enjoyed communicating with students in Australia and New Zealand.

The final day of English Week was a dress up day! Children chose their favourite book characters to dress up and came to school in their costume. There were prizes for the best dressed and the class that made the most effort.
