Holistic education approach at Yew Wah
Established in 2015, Yew Wah International Education School of Shanghai Lingang offers primary and secondary programmes that promote holistic education and lifelong learning. Students are nurtured to become bilingual global citizens with deep understanding of Chinese cultures and international perspectives. The international education at Yew Wah focuses on the integration of East and West combining a strict implementation of the Chinese National Curriculum with quality educational resources from overseas. The bilingual and small-class setting allows students to learn from the best of both cultures.

Enriching Co-curricular Activities
Yew Wah has close to 200 academic, arts and sports related co-curricular programmes coached by experienced tutors and coaches. In addition to the daily co-curricular activities, the school also holds regular school assemblies, English week, cultural week, concerts, sports events etc plus other significant events.
A colourful residential life
As a boarding school, Yew Wah emphasises the development of students' behaviour, study habits and character. After-school tutoring, living care and residence hall activities are planned by dedicated residence hall teachers. The teachers and students build on their friendships and develop a strong bond amongst them.

The campus of YWIES Shanghai Lingang is purpose-built with state-of-the-art teaching and living facilities, including spacious classrooms, modern laboratories, a library, a multimedia centre, a theatre, and sports facilities such as soccer, basketball and tennis courts, as well as music rooms, piano practice rooms, an art centre and a dance studio.
